GA collects the data that is performed by each user. For example, if a visitor moves from the homepage to the service page, this action will be monitored by GA.
2. Session Level.
At session level, GA tracks each user. If you have a product page, when a user login to the website, they move from the homepage to the product page, particularly this action will be tracked by GA.
3. Pageview level.
At pageview level, GA tracks each user’s page visits. If you have a service-based website, GA tracks how much time does a user spend on the particular individual page and more.
4. Event level.
GA tracks some of the activities of the users such as clicks or video views and so on. You can check these at the event level. When a user clicks the download button for a PDF file or clicks the video this action may convert the leads to conversions.
What Kind of Data is Available on Google Analytics?
There are two kinds of data in Google Analytics,
- User Acquisition Data:- A developer can access data about the user’s demographics before they visit the website such as age, location, interest and gender and also GA can track the way that visitors visit the website through an organic search, social media or by paid campaigns.
- User Behaviour Data:- in this behaviour data, GA provides overall details about the visitors. For instance, how much time did visitors spend? By GA, developers can analyse the ‘pathway’ of the visitors. Pathway means route. When a visitor enters the website, they move from the homepage to the service page to the contact page and again return to the homepage and exit. This loop is called a pathway.
